Just as it has been discovered that land based bingo has very strong roots in the community, so much so that 97% of the UK public believe that social activities such as bingo foster the feeling of belonging within a community, so too does online bingo. In fact online bingo is all about the community. How is this so” you may ask. It most certainly is, I answer. Quite simply because you could never play bingo alone, it is probably one of the few games that hundreds of people can play at the same time in the same place and online bingo is absolutely no different.
One of the most noticeable features about playing online bingo is the chat feature, when I first registered, and I did this with a free site first, and chose the bingo room I wanted to play in, the moment I entered people were chatting to me and saying hello, they were so friendly that I felt as though they had known me for years, everyone meets and greets one another. Hands out a few tips to new players, tells them what to do if they are struggling and although the language they use, much of it is acronyms, was a little difficult to understand at first, I soon got used to it and was chatting along madly with them. I found out that one lady lived in Swansea and she was going on holiday to Goa the next day, I found that one man had a brother living in Japan., and I told them a lot about myself to, it is just such an open and friendly place to be.
Another very unique aspect of the whole online bingo community feature is that group games can be played, you can actually form teams online, and take part in online bingo tournaments, so if you fancy a bit of competitive bingo, there you have it. Join a team and see just how well you do at competing against other teams and making new friends.
Here is a little good advice though, if you decide to register to play online bingo, remember to make yourself familiar with the terms that are used in the chat feature. You don’t want to go there and be put off because you don’t really know what people are talking about. As soon as you register check out the chat room glossary and you will soon be chatting away, socializing, playing your favorite game and having some good clean fun!
